Growing up as a first-generation American has given Michelle a diverse outlook on life. As a Vietnamese American with immigrant parents who fled from war in the late 1990s, she embraced the culture and difference. In this class, Michelle will speak about her Vietnamese heritage by sharing everything about the food, the people, and her own story. Together, we can embrace and learn about the things that make us, us.

Michelle is a college student and athlete. She enjoys swimming since she was very young. She also enjoys reading and jewelry making. A fun fact about her is that she loves adrenaline and enjoys rollercoasters and bungee jumping!
