Join Stephen, part of Musicians on Call, who will play a selection of songs by the great American Songbook composer Hoagy Carmichael. He'll perform standards such as Stardust. Skylark and Heart and Soul. He will ask you to guess the tune's name before singing it! He'll share anecdotal information about this colorful artist and each of the songs he performs.

Stephen has loved jazz music since being introduced to it by friends in college! He played piano and sang-mostly American Songbook Standards. He grew up in Buffalo, absorbing many musical influences from his parents and older brothers. He currently lives in San Diego, participates in the church's music ministry, and performs in retirement centers and jam sessions. He's a lifelong learner of music and, for variety, plays the Irish fiddle!
