Wellness | CDC's HealthIER Diabetes Prevention Program: Eating to Support Your Health Goals w/ Lisa F.

This program is intended for individuals who are pre-diabetic and/or at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes. HealthIER from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention Diabetes Prevention Program: We’ll concentrate on 3 lifestyle behaviors that directly relate to your life: Stress, Sleep, and Eating.

Studies show that focusing on these can reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58% and 71% for people over 60. This program will offer a broad approach to things you can do - at your own pace, in your own time, and within your abilities.

Lisa is a Certified Lifestyle Coach who worked as a Life Coach, HR professional, and ESL educator in Hawaii & Japan. Born and raised in Hawaii, she loves the beach, blue skies & water - her favorite activities include reading (while lounging at the beach) & aqua Zumba! Wanting to work her brain and learn something new, she is experiencing the challenges and fun of country line dancing.
